One thing that I really like about Summer in Amsterdam is the variety of festivals open for public, especially those related to culinary. Between 17 – 19 July 2015 it’s the time for Trek food truck festival, held in Amstelpark. Comparing this festival to the other similar one, NeighbourFood Market, I found it very professionally managed. I could see professional security personnel, cleaning service team, and most importantly musics in many different spots. So lively.
The food selection was also great. We tried Mexican, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, Indonesian, etc. The atmosphere was also good for families and friends. Many of the visitors actually came with small children, sit on the grass, dancing while of course enjoying the fantastic food. To me personally, the highlight for this festival was Churos and Fried Cassava.
